Russell Green River Sheep Skinner Blade (BLSSK) by David King Date Added: Monday 21 November, 2011
Russell Green River Sheep Skinner Blade (BLSSK) I\'ve been a fan and user of these Green River knives for years and the Sheep Skinner is my favorite. I\'ve just ordered my 3rd one a few moments ago. Not only is it a superb skinning knife, it\'s also good for just about any general purpose butchering and backwoods uses. I\'ve put handles on these blades for people who tried one of mine out and really liked it. In my opinion, the quality of Green River knives far exceeds the very modest price you pay for them. Sometimes you get what you pay for, but sometimes you get so much more.

Laredo Skinner - Blade Only with CRYO (BL411C) by kirk stamps Date Added: Monday 25 April, 2011
Laredo Skinner - Blade Only with CRYO (BL411C) this blade is tough as they come... ive made knives from circular saw blades in the past and this blade is thicker tougher and holds an edge as long as any knife ive made. the cryo blade is harder to sharpen because its so darn hard but holds edge a little longer. ive skinned many deer and killed many boar and wild hogs with this blade and highly recommend it to any outdoorsman. the worst thing about this knife is the gutwrenching feeling you will feel if you lose it.... be sure you have a good sheath with a button retaining strap......kirkstamps@hotmail.com

Polyester Pearl-Emerald Green Piece by Roger Cox Date Added: Saturday 01 January, 2011
Polyester Pearl-Emerald Green Piece This is a remarkably beautiful material when properly finished. It has a depth that is uncommon in materials. When finishing this material, be fully aware that the material is somewhat softer than most woods and micarta. Light pressure when sanding on power sanders is the order of the day. But it is especially so when sanding with a power sander and coarse grits. The grit marks left can be very deep in this material. Nothing coarser than 80 grit is recommended for power sanding. Hand sanding after shape rough out is complete is highly recommended. It will leave fewer gouges to work out later. I love this material and highly recommend it.

Inlace-White & Black Pearl Block by Roger Conroy Date Added: Thursday 09 September, 2010
Inlace-White & Black Pearl Block At first, I was disappointed. The block didn't look like the picture. It was mostly white, and looked like all the white settled to the bottom when the block/slab or whatever was molded. I got it for a knife for my wife and she didn't like it. I sawed the block in half lengthwise, making two square pieces, then drilled that. Since this was for a small dagger (Skean Dhu) it worked good becasue I was able to use the picee with the most black, even though one side was whiter. I turned the square piced sideways, putting the white on the back of the knife. It drills, sands and buffs great. I was able to get a shaped handle for this small dagger in one afternoon using a 1" belt sander and buffing wheel. I'd ask for personal selection by phone to ensure you get a piece that has color consistency, if they'll do it. The Inlace acrylester looks like the imitation pearl handle on my wife's Linder Dagger. She loved it. I think this might work better with matched scales if you want consistency of color on both sides of your knife.
