Stabilized Spalted Texas Pecan Knife Scales

Pecan is the state tree of Texas! This wood is very hard, yet has a porous grain that is easily infected with tree fungus. These scales have been stabilized, protecting the wood from shrinking, cracking, or warping. Pecan wood varies from light to deep brown, with red hues.
