A chevron pattern wood mosaic inlay. This inlay makes a handsome spacer between the bolster or guard and the wood handle material. If you have a thick handle material and you want more height, you can use one mosaic strip under another, matching the patterns. Before buffing your knife out, be sure to sand down the inlay material to a 600 grit, then seal the inlay material with superglue (use Cyan 2 or 3). Otherwise, you will contaminate your material with black compound from your buffer. The chevron inlay is 1/4" wide x 1/8" high x 12" long.

The knife was made by Elliott Wakefield. He uses the Sam Houston Skinner blade (BL410), a custom bolster, the Chevron wood mosaic inlay, and Water Buffalo handle material.
